What you'll need:
Wire - Beacon
1 target finder
1 beacon Sensor
Wire - Render
1 HoloEmitter
Other
1 npc
Settings:
Target Finder:
Target NPC's Checked
Max number of bogeys(Targets) 1
Any settings that might intrest you
Beacon Sensor:
Split X,Y,Z
HoloEmitter:
Any model(Doesn't matter)
Wiring :
First Link the beacon sensor by either:
Wiring Target from Beacon Sensor to 1 on the Target Finder or
With the beacon sensor tool out, right click the beacon sensor and left click the Target Finder
Second Wire X from the HoloEmitter to the Beacon Sensor, X
Wire Y from the HoloEmitter to the Beacon Sensor, Y
Wire Z from the HoloEmitter to the Beacon Sensor, Z
Finally wire Active from the HoloEmitter to the Target Finder, 1
Spawn an NPC and your holo emitter should come on automatically and show where and how far the target is from the beacon sensor
Wire Entities
Hover Drive
What it does:
I know it sounds like something that's supposed to hover but no, it's more of a "Warp Drive"
Why? Because it warps from place to place
What it's useful for:
It's useful for A LOT of things whether it's getting into your base, or a remake of "Back to the Future" scenes
Or quickly getting to your buddy!(Which is what I'm going to teach you!)
What you'll need:
Entities
1 Hover Drive
Wire - Beacon
1 Beacon Sensor
1 Target Finder
Wire - I/O
1 Button or Numpad Input
Vehicles
Airboat Seat or Jeep Seat(Optional)
Other
A buddy or an NPC
Settings:
Beacon Sensor:
Output world position(gps coords)
Target Finder:
Max number of bogeys 1
Do not target owner(Optional if you want to test it using your body)
Target Players(If you are with a buddy)
Target NPCs(If you are in singleplayer or an empty server)
Button/Numpad Input:
Toggle OFF
Value on 1
Value off 0
Wiring:
First, Link the beacon sensor(To do this read the Beacon Sensor/ Target Finder tutorial)
Then, Weld a seat to the Hover Drive(Optional)
Now, Wire JumpTargetX(Should be something similar to that) to the Beacon Sensor, WorldX
Wire JumpTargetY to Beacon Sensor, WorldY
Wire JumpTargetZ to Beacon Sensor, WorldZ
Wire from the Hover Drive, JumpTarget(deprecated) to the Numpad Input/Button(This part allows it to jump)
Wire Jump from the Hover Drive to the Numpad Input/Button(This part makes it jump IF JumpTarget(Deprecated) is 1)
